Here’s the surprising news: you do NOT need a fortune to transform your spaces! Cloud 9 Organize & Redesign has made it our singular mission to help you love coming home again, while respecting your real-life budget and the environment. Here’s how we do it:

• REDESIGN (ONE-DAY DECORATING): Cloud 9 offers an affordable, immediate, and eco-friendly alternative to traditional decorating services. We transform your space by repurposing, restyling, and rearranging what you already own instead of buying all new things.  Applying principles of design, Cloud 9 “shops” your home and artfully rearranges and repurposes your current furniture, lighting, artwork, belongings & decorations to revolutionize your space.  In less than one day and for a quarter of the cost of that new couch you’ve been considering, you get a whole new room instead!  (If client assists with the hands-on redesign, cost is hourly – $55/hr. If client prefers to not be present for the redesign, Cloud 9 hires an assistant and charges client by the room instead of hourly. Call Cloud 9 at 617.524.5815 to discuss your particular space to get a room estimate, which varies, depending on size of room, amount of furnishings, decorations, etc.)

• ORGANIZING: Sometimes it’s necessary to deal with your “stuff” before we’re ready to make your space more beautiful through the redesign process described above. Cloud 9 will consult or work hand in hand with you to sort, declutter (if needed), contain, and create time-saving systems for any of your spaces, from a single closet to an entire house.  To minimize waste, Cloud 9 will also help you redirect your unwanted items to appropriate destinations (recycling, donating, selling etc.).($55/hr; add $15/hr for assistant if project requires heavy lifting)

• SPACE PLANNING: When you’re trying to figure out how to maximize small spaces, use your space better, or just aren’t ready for a full redesign and want ideas that you can implement on your own, Cloud 9 offers space planning consultations.($55/hr)

• COLOR CONSULTING: Color is one of the most important elements of design and one of the least expensive ways to transform your space.  When you’re paralyzed by the thousands of colors to choose from at the hardware store, Cloud 9 helps you efficiently and joyfully choose the right colors for your walls, furniture, textiles and other interiors.($55/hr)

• DECORATING COACHING: Do you feel like you have a decent eye for design and just want some back-up support?  Have you done some of your own legwork on picking out materials and furnishings but just need a second opinion?  Are you feeling unclear about where to start your decorating process? While Cloud 9 does not specialize in nuts-to-bolts “empty room” decorating, we do offer decorating coaching for clients who aren’t interested in working with traditional designers (who manage the process for you and access to-the-trade materials), but instead want to work with a decorating collaborator who can help you make decisions about retail furnishings and decorations.($55/hr)
  

• ARTWORK PLACEMENT AND HANGING: Placement of art makes an enormous difference in how your space looks and feels.  We use the term “art” and “artwork” very loosely.  It could be your child’s unframed masterpieces, your yard sale “artwork”, or some actual valuable goodies.   Regardless, we help you decide what should hang where, create sophisticated groupings, and actually help you get the stuff up on your walls!  ($55/hr)

• SHOPPING: Too often people waste time and money buying items that aren’t the right scale, color, texture, or function for their space.  Cloud 9 helps you thoughtfully purchase new or secondhand items to complete your spaces.   Cloud 9 can help you source traditional products but we have a special passion for helping you find secondhand or eco-friendly products.(online/phone research $45/hr, in-store shopping $55/hr).
